As an exercise in community, MATERIAL (in co-operation with Parrot Press) put together an event based around the idea of making a communal salad - and the futility therein. Several artists submitted writing and participated in a panel that reflected on community. MATERIAL asked Humble Giants to take the writing and put together a small zine to sell at the event. The result is a clean, fun, hand-made book of great writing.
